January, 2000, the Ft. Vancouver Pipes & Drums of the 78th Frasers had grown to 15 members.
May, 2000, the 78th Frasers' Ft. Vancouver Garrison Pipes & Drums met at the Ft. Vancouver Auditorium for weekly practice and to discuss plans for upcoming events.
June, 2000, the name of the band was changed to Fort Vancouver Pipe Band. Upon establishment as the Fort Vancouver Pipe Band students were brought in, increasing membership to 23.
August, 2000, the Washington State Tartan was selected for the kilts of the official uniform.
November, 2000, the Band was declared by Mayor Royce Pollard to be the official pipe band of the City of Vancouver.
December, 2001 the band received first order of kilts in the Washington State Tartan and was photographed wearing them in a dress rehearsal at the Pearson Air Museum.
