The Mission of the Fort Vancouver Pipe Band is to:

1.	Promote Scottish pipe band music and Celtic culture through public and private performances.
2.	Provide the opportunity to study the playing of the Great Highland Bagpipe and Scottish pipe band drumming.
3.	Give pipers and drummers of any age the opportunity to play in a traditional pipe band.
4.	Raise the level of our performance, individually and as an ensemble, and to provide an enjoyable social group.
5.	Honor our public protectors, current and former, especially those who gave their lives in public service.
